A 14-year-old boy was critically injured this evening (Sunday) and another boy was moderately injured as a result of a "Tik Tok Challenge" in a public park in Kiryat Ata.

According to a report in 'Kan News', the main direction investigated by the police is that the game from which the boys were injured is connecting an electric scooter to a carousel in an amusement park and operating the scooter with the rear wheel, so that the scooter clings to the carousel and rotates it at high speed.

The boys were apparently injured when the carousel broke apart. As a result, its middle pole came loose, flew violently, and hit the two boys. One of them was critically injured in the head, and the moderately injured one suffered injuries to his lower limbs.

It is also being examined whether one of the boys was holding an electronic cigarette. Among other things, the possibility is being examined that the cigarette ignited from the force of the impact and worsened the condition of the boy who was holding it.

Rescue forces called to the scene evacuated one boy who was very seriously injured, with injuries to his upper body, to Rambam Hospital after CPR was performed on him, and another boy in moderate condition.

Paramedics Orian Dayan and Ravit Martinez from MDA said: "We saw a boy lying on the floor unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing with injuries to his upper body. We gave him life-saving medical treatment that included stopping the bleeding, massages and breathing, and after a few minutes, his heart started beating independently again and we evacuated him to the hospital while he was sedated and on a ventilator and his condition was unstable.

""Additional MDA teams at the scene provided treatment to another boy who was at the scene and suffered injuries to his limbs and was moderately injured, and evacuated him to the hospital in stable condition.".

Police from the Zebulon Station arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving the report and began collecting evidence to examine the circumstances of the incident, including examining whether the boys were playing a dangerous 'TikTok challenge'.
