President Shimon Peres spoke this evening with the parents of the three missing boys, Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frenkel and Gil-Ad Sha'er, and asked to strengthen their hands in these difficult times. In conversations with the parents and family members, the President said: "I know that you are going through difficult times and that you are under stress and anxiety. I would like to emphasize that we are one people - the entire people of Israel are with you in these moments.".

The President reiterated that the security forces are working tirelessly to return the boys, saying: "The security forces of the State of Israel, in all branches, are working in the field and doing everything to bring your precious boys, ours, home. You are showing great fortitude, I embrace you and ask you to know that I am with you at this difficult time. The entire people of Israel are praying for their return.".
Eyal Yifrach's parents, Uriel and Iris, thanked the president for the phone call and said: "We feel the embrace of the people of Israel and know that everything is being done to bring the boys home. We pray for the boys' return and for good news.".
The President heard a similar message from the other families he spoke with.
