He wrote: "Victory!!!

""In a good and successful hour, after a one-year suspension from reserve duty, it was decided by the Attorney General's Office and the Military Police to close the case and return me to reserve duty immediately! Without indictment. Without a criminal record. Without disciplinary proceedings. Without any blemish.".

""I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the dear people of Israel. To everyone who supported, donated, strengthened, prayed, shared, stood by me and did not let me fight alone against a large system that could be opaque. It is important to remember that like me, there are thousands of other reserve fighters who are under investigations, freezes and various procedures, without the public, economic, and legal ability to fight for their good name, and fight for their right to return to serve the country.

""There is still a lot to fix. There is still a lot to improve. And yet, every step like this is another milestone, and I couldn't have done it without you. Our strength is in unity.".

""I am happy and proud to return to doing what I have always done best and out of a mission to serve and protect the people of Israel.".

The investigation was opened following an operational incident in Samaria, after the attack in which Gideon Peri was murdered in an industrial area. Following the attack, the IDF ordered the closure of Arab businesses in the area as part of the security measures taken in the area.

According to Yudkin, who served as a company commander, during one of the activities a confrontation developed with a store owner who refused to obey the forces' orders, and in response a stun grenade was thrown into the store. Although the incident ended without casualties or damage, a police investigation was opened.

Yudkin said that while he was commanding reserve forces on the northern front under fire, military police investigators demanded that he report for questioning immediately and even threatened him with a long prison sentence if he refused.

In May two years ago, Yudkin - a native of Kfar Chabad - lost his brother, Captain Israel Yudkin, who fell in heroic battle in the northern Gaza Strip. Despite the severe loss, he continued his service out of a sense of mission.
