The expectation of many on the left that the Haredi parties would withdraw from the coalition amid the turmoil over the draft law, and thus succeed in bringing about early elections, faded with the decision of Maran Lando not to withdraw from the coalition now.
The instruction at this stage to United Torah Judaism MKs is to advance a law with Likud, subject to the understandings and signatures in the coalition agreement.
At the same time, a recording of Rabbi Lando speaking after the High Court's ruling on the conscription law is being published: "There are many out there who only intend for him to fly, for the Prime Minister to fly, they don't care...".
