A two-year-old toddler was found around 6:00 AM (Sunday) wandering around the synagogue plaza on Asher Golek Street in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem, complaining that he was being lied to.
Citizens who noticed him called the police to the scene, who called the MDA team - who evacuated the toddler to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital, even though he did not appear to be injured. It turned out that the toddler was suffering from a slight cold, but his condition was good.
At the same time, the police began searching for his family members. Welfare officials arrived at the hospital.
After a search of about an hour and a half, the toddler's mother was located, And she was questioned by the police.
An initial investigation indicates that the toddler apparently left the house through an unlocked door. His 5-year-old brother woke up and noticed that his brother was missing. He woke the mother, who went to the police station. The investigation is also continuing at the same time by social welfare officials, who were summoned to the hospital.
