Dr. Yitzhak Lipshitz, an Israeli patriot who laments the state of the State of Israel and believes that the crisis in which Israel and many other democracies find themselves stems from distortions that have developed over generations in the existing democratic electoral system.

According to him, the current electoral system is distorted, encourages division, and serves professional politicians instead of the public.

In his book, which is currently being published ""New Democracy"" Dr. Lipshitz reveals a revolutionary democratic electoral system he developed based on a model of government elected on an algorithmic basis.

The book points out the central failure of the existing system - an electoral system controlled by parties, campaigns, and donations, and offers a revolutionary but feasible alternative: an advanced democratic system, based on scientific and technological tools, that enables direct, equal, and independent elections from those in power.

Under this method, a computer system randomly selects an "electoral body" that constitutes a statistically representative and accurate sample of the entire population. The members of this body elect from among themselves the members of the Knesset, who are supposed to act as independent representatives, independent of parties, funding, or external pressures.

The new electoral system emphasizes a complete separation of powers, with the Knesset appointing a government of only professional ministers who are not members of parliament. The goal of the reform is to eradicate political corruption, save resources, and create honest leadership that truly reflects the will of the people.

Creating the "voter" through a computer algorithm instead of millions of citizens going to the polls, which is the central computer containing the list of all those entitled to vote, randomly selects a limited group of citizens and the selection is carried out by dedicated software for selecting a representative sample, which neutralizes the biases existing in the current method, such as political pressures, propaganda, the influence of capitalists and emotional manipulations.

To ensure that the selected group faithfully reflects the entire population, the system uses predefined statistical parameters when the electorate is selected so that it accurately represents public opinion on at least 30 different and independent issues.

The book presents the failure of the old democracy, the principles that characterize the new democracy, the sensitive and delicate state of relations between the three branches of government in Israel: the legislative, the executive, and the judiciary, and addresses the current situation and the struggles between the branches, and the expected situation in the new democracy.

The close connection between capital and power is also described, which contributes, among other things, to the high cost of living in Israel, and the need to take money out of politics. An entire chapter presents the new democratic system without parties, without left and right, without election propaganda, without pressure groups.
