A curious musical journey between fatherhood, moments of brokenness and devotion: After about two years of writing, arranging and internal maturation, arranger and composer Yohanan Bleich launches his first EP in which he wrote, composed and produced all the songs himself.
In 'A Place by the Window' he invites you to simply sit down and let your heart wander.
The album includes 4 original, emotional and diverse tracks - some in collaboration with talented artists, and combines hip-hop, reggae, pleasant pop and even meditation.
Yohanan Bleich: "I'm now coming out of the difficult period in my life, but it was precisely from there that I learned to develop curiosity - to sit by the window and see where the road will take me. It always pays off in the end.".
The album opens with "It Was Worth It," a song that includes a collaboration with the composer Roy Lavie (who also performs a guitar solo); later you will also find "Dream of Me," a personal lullaby that Bleich wrote for his little son - and which he chose to perform himself despite interest from two well-known artists.
Also on the album: 'Our Driver', an innovative hip-hop hit with rapper Rish Galuta, and 'Forest Shower' - a meditation track led by Benzi Goldstein, a practitioner of circular breathing.
