On 14.3.26, a report was received of an incident in the village of Kusra involving shooting. According to reports, as a result of this incident, several Palestinians were injured and one of them was pronounced dead.
IDF forces and Judea and Samaria Border Guard soldiers were called to the scene and began dispersing the gathering. Police officers from the Ariel station and forensic investigators in the Sha'ar district, who were called later and arrived accompanied by IDF forces, began collecting evidence and findings at the scene, and the police investigation began together with the security forces.
This morning, a suspect in the shooting, an IDF soldier who acted outside the scope of his duties, was arrested. The suspect was taken for questioning and his weapon was seized. In a court hearing, his detention was extended at the request of the police.
