An IDF source confirmed today (Tuesday) that during Operation 'Am Kalavi', Iran struck several military installations using ballistic missiles.

According to a report in the Reuters news agency, the military official clarified that only a few sites were hit, and they remained active. Beyond that, he refused to provide details on the extent of the damage or the locations - but at the end of the week, the British Telegraph reported that five bases were hit by Iranian missile launches, including the Air Force base in Tel Nof and Base 8200 in Galilot.

Reuters claims that this is the first time that there has been public recognition of such an injury.

In response to The Telegraph, the IDF said it would not comment on missile interception rates or damage to its bases. "What we can say is that all relevant units maintained functional continuity throughout the operation.".

The report of the attack on five IDF bases is added to 36 other known attacks on air defense systems, which caused significant damage to residential infrastructure and industry.

According to a report on the 'Walla' website, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office and bureau at the Kirya base in Tel Aviv recently underwent extensive renovations, and the entire building is being evacuated - and Netanyahu's entourage estimates that the renovations are expected to last about 3-4 months, during which he will prefer to work from the office in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu's office and bureau in Kirya are located in a building that is more than 60 years old, formerly called 'Building 22' and now known as 'Shimon Peres House'.

It should be noted that on the second night of the war, an Iranian missile hit the Da Vinci Towers, which are adjacent to the Prime Minister's Office building in Kirya, and another hit occurred near Kaplan Gate.
