The 'Committee to Eradicate Violence' convened without discussing at all the serious events that have occurred in the city in recent weeks, including stabbings, shootings, bombs, arson, running overs, and Molotov cocktails – some of which even ended in murder.
Instead, the discussion was solely about the issue of infiltrators in the city.
Wieder said after the discussion: "We have just concluded a bizarre discussion in the committee aimed at eradicating violence - the discussion regarding infiltrators is important, but on the main issue for which it was established, the activists, for strange reasons, refused to discuss it.".
""The residents of Bnei Brak deserve much more than the disconnected group of activists who run the municipality and see it as having only one goal: jobs and budgets for their cronies.".
