
Crime in Bnei Brak: Starting this evening (Thursday), police officers from the Bnei Brak station, combined with Tel Aviv District Police and additional forces, under the command of station commander Lt. Col. Rotem Wasker, prepared for Purim celebrations on the streets of the city of Bnei Brak - with the aim of increasing police and security presence, alongside uncompromising enforcement against troublemakers.
During the activity, a handful of youths gathered on the road on Birnboim Street in Bnei Brak and began disrupting public order.
According to the police, they were holding dangerous toys, flares and explosives, and set fire to and threw trash cans onto the road, endangering road users.
Police forces arrested 6 disorderly boys, and they were taken for questioning at the police station.
Meanwhile, a number of vehicles that violated the order and endangered road users were towed away.
Amplifier systems were seized and the vehicles were disabled for use.
