Outrageous story: While the IDF is making great efforts to recruit young Haredi men into the ranks of the army, it continues to break promises and undermine the trust of Haredi soldiers.  According to a report by Mandy Rizel, the military correspondent for the radio station "Kol Berama," dozens of ultra-Orthodox soldiers, aged 19-27, who enlisted as part of the "Blue Dawn," "Intellect in Green," and ICT courses, are currently completing a software studies course.  The studies took place at Ort Singalovsky College in Tel Aviv - and were conducted at the expense of the army and as part of military service.  However, in recent days, the soldiers received a notification from their commanders that the course is not recognized by the army and therefore will not be able to enlist in the IDF, Shin Bet, and the police, as was the case with these courses in the past. This means: they will not be invited to interviews and screenings at the Shin Bet, police, and army in the relevant field that they studied on behalf of the IDF and as part of their military service. Rizal: "This is the last thing the army needs during this sensitive period of trying to recruit Haredim.". An IDF spokesman said in response: "The issue is being examined and addressed.".  Idan Rizal continued: "An update I just received from the soldiers - following the publication, the company commander just called us together and announced that the matter has been sorted out and we will receive everything. Thank you.".
