The senior wanted individual who was arrested is Alaa al-Din Bitawi, a resident of Jenin, one of the Hamas leaders in the camp. Several other wanted individuals who were involved in terrorist activity in Jenin were arrested with him. During their arrest, a gun was seized and several charges were located that were destroyed by forces in the field. The wanted individuals were transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation. The security forces are continuing the operation in northern Samaria.
