Did they work on it? United States President Donald Trump sharply attacked Iran today (Friday), claiming that the leaks to the media about the talks between the parties do not reflect the true understandings.

The president wrote in a post he published: "The terms that Iran leaked to the fake news media have no connection whatsoever to the terms that were agreed upon in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic announcement that there is an agreement, has nothing to do with the truth.".

""These are very disrespectful people to negotiate with. There is no such thing as negotiating in good faith with them. Amazing!""

President Trump later also referred to the drone attack that was carried out, he said, against Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz. "In addition, their drone attack last night against Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz - an attack that was completely thwarted - is completely unacceptable.".

Trump ended with a warning to Tehran, saying: "They better come to their senses, and quickly!".

The Iranian Mehr news agency reported earlier today details of the memorandum of understanding that was formed between Iran and the United States. According to the report, Washington has pledged to present a plan to "rebuild Iran" at a cost of at least $300 billion.

It was also reported that during the negotiations, the parties will not discuss the ballistic missile program or support for proxy organizations.

A senior US official told Reuters that the deal with Iran is performance-based. "The nuclear material will be destroyed and removed," he added, adding that "Iran will not fund terrorist organizations.".
