A hospital is a clearly unsympathetic place: just the proximity to the heavy buildings, emitting pungent odors, evokes negative associations and causes an instinctive repulsion from the place.
This feeling prompted a Russian billionaire named Klyukin to build a hospital in the shape of a ship, to give a pleasant feeling. "I want my son to never suffer from trauma when he has to visit a hospital, but to ask me, 'Dad, when are we going to the ship again,'" Klyukin said.
He said he got the idea for establishing the hospital following his expected trip to space in about a year, and the doctors' requirement for him to be examined every six months: "Now I will have a more pleasant feeling when I approach the hospital.".
The hospital is planned to be built in Tunis, at a total cost of 50 million pounds sterling.
