Gantz furious: He postponed the trip to India by several hours - because the Likud refused to compensate

Another clash between the coalition and the opposition: Defense Minister Benny Gantz was forced to postpone his trip to India by several hours today (Wednesday) - this is because the opposition did not agree to offset with him. Blue and White were furious: "Likud decided that they are the opposition to the State of Israel. The attempts to sabotage the Defense Minister's trip to India are a violation of the state's security and its relations with one of the most influential powers in the world." As reported, on Monday the heads of the 'Netanyahu Bloc' factions decided not to support any more laws of the coalition - and to fight it in every way, until it is overthrown. The main laws expected to be voted on today are a law on the death penalty for terrorists and a law prohibiting the flying of PLO flags in state-run institutions - both by opposition MKs. Gantz's trip to India, which was supposed to take place two months ago, was postponed after the Defense Minister decided to cancel the visit, following the shooting attack in Hadera in which two Border Guard soldiers were murdered and the attack in Beersheba in which four Israelis were murdered. During the visit, Gantz is expected to sign a security memorandum of understanding.
