""We must learn from God to restrain ourselves and act with mercy, as this is the measure of His heroism – to be praised with strength," said the head of the yeshiva.

The special message delivered from his home, due to the lockdown guidelines, dealt with daily matters, including Tu B'Shvat and Parashah Be'Shalach. But at the same time, the yeshivah discussed the events of the period and referred to the fact that a year has already passed since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic - although, "precisely at a time when God, blessed be He, is striking His world, one must learn from the extent of mercy He is exercising at the same time in His world.".

Therefore, he said, we must learn from God and exercise restraint. "Now, after twelve months of the Corona pandemic hitting us, and even the punishment of the wicked in Hell is only twelve months, the time has come for healing and mercy.".

""We must learn from God, blessed be He, that as it is said in the scripture, 'Your right hand, O Lord, is glorified in power,' and this does not refer to physical strength, but rather that with the same hand that God, blessed be He, executes judgment, with the same hand and at the same time, kindness and mercy also operate.".

The head of the yeshiva linked what was said to the plague of hail, where, although God struck the Egyptians, - he quoted one of the first - He made sure that they were left with food to last them their entire lives. "Restraint and kindness are the main strength! This is what we learn, surprisingly, precisely from the plague of hail. At the same time and at the same time when the trees and fruits were struck, kindness and mercy were woven over the creatures to leave food for sustenance and life.".
