
He is 70 years old, no longer young but with the energy and strength of a 20-year-old. He is busy from morning until night with endless economic, security, political, legal worries, and pressures from all directions.
It has never been easy, for any human being, to run a country like the State of Israel. Even in normal times, certainly at a time when the entire world is being turned upside down by a storm.
But amidst all this, at a time like this, there are those who steer the ship - and manage the campaign against the coronavirus at the highest level.
In a professional, thoughtful, transparent and leadership manner - awe-inspiring.
In conversations I have with friends around the world, including members of parliament and mayors from countries that are also dealing with the coronavirus, everyone is full of appreciation and amazement at Prime Minister Netanyahu's management of the crisis.
It is possible and permissible to disagree with him, and I certainly do so when necessary. But at a time like this, and especially in the face of the delusional trolling we have been hearing from certain politicians in recent days, at a time when he is running a campaign to glory, with leadership and professionalism, and is saving so many lives, quite simply. It is important for me to say one simple thing on behalf of the entire people of Israel:
