The September 11 attacks in the United States, sixteen years ago, confronted the world with the horrific murderous lust of radical Islam. The scope of the phenomenon has not yet been grasped. There was a tendency to think that it was the work of extremist lunatics, from the Al-Qaeda group.
The years that have passed have proven that this was only the tip of a huge iceberg, of monstrous proportions.
In these years, the world has tasted the benefits of radical Islam, from the horrific cruelty of ISIS in its wars with its own people, to the mass murder attacks in European cities. The expressions of joy on social media have proven the extent of support for these acts, and the fact that we are not dealing with a handful of madmen, but with an entire culture that fosters killing and murder, and in the name of religion!
Recognize the disease
But it turns out that even when all the alarm bells are wailing, the world is still playing the 'politically correct' game and refusing to call the child by his name.
When people insist on not recognizing the disease, they do not take the appropriate medication, and they certainly do not resort to performing the emergency surgery necessary to save lives.
This blindness is evident in all the conduct surrounding the Iranian issue.
It is clear to everyone that Iran is the source of the culture of murder that is sweeping the world. It is the source of inspiration for suicide bombers and jihadists, who believe that they will secure their place in paradise by slaughtering innocent people. It is from there that the rhetoric of hatred for anyone who does not accept the religion of Islam emanates.
And what is the world doing in the face of the danger that this corrupt regime will succeed in developing nuclear weapons? - Playing at diplomacy and buying silence now with lentil stew. I hope we don't wake up when it's already too late!
It is no wonder that Israel is the one who warns of the danger and who repeatedly sounds the alarm bells. The Jewish people have been tasked with instilling in all of humanity the fundamental values embodied in the "Seven Commandments of the Children of Noah," one of which is the prohibition of murder.
After the world corrupted its ways and was washed away by the flood, God warned Noah and his sons about observing the Seven Commandments, which are the foundation for the existence of a reformed human society. They include a stern warning against bloodshed: "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for in the image of God He made man.".
Hell, not heaven.
We must call upon the entire world to wage an uncompromising war on the culture of murder. It is not enough to fight the murderers themselves. This culture must be uprooted from its foundation. We must instill awareness that killing human beings is a criminal and abhorrent act. Because murderers do not await heaven but hell. Because supporters of terrorism exclude themselves from the group of people with whom we engage in dialogue.
We ourselves also need to stop playing games, as if Hamas is on the 'bad' side while the Palestinian Authority is on the 'good' side. Some support murder. Some openly, and some by funding the families of murderers and demanding their release from prison, as if they were poor 'prisoners' and not despicable terrorists.
When we speak clearly and decisively against terrorists, their senders, and their supporters, we will fulfill our role in uprooting the culture of murder and building a proper world, where people can live in peace and tranquility.
