The day of jubilation for Rabbi Yonatan ben Uziel, who is buried near the settlement of Amuka in the Galilee, will fall tomorrow - the 26th of Sivan.

Rabbi Yonatan is considered one of the greatest Tan'im from the Second Temple period, and a student of Hillel the Elder.

Over the generations, a special status developed around his grave, and over the years the place became one of the most recognizable destinations as a place where requests for matchmaking are made, with many coming to pray and ask for a "decent match.".

The grave marker of the Tanna Jonathan ben Uziel is a white stone structure on the northern edges of the Birya Forest, near the settlement of Amuka. The site has been documented as a grave marker since the 11th century CE.

In recent years, two customs have spread among those who visit his grave: one is hanging scarves, ribbons, and pieces of cloth on the branches of nearby trees, and the other is leaving notes with the names and details of those who come to pray for a match.

In the Book of the Epiphanies, it is written that in the sacred handwriting of the Arizal it is written that it is "very good" to go to the Zion of Rabbi Yonatan ben Uziel. And some say that Zion of Yonatan ben Uziel is capable of praying for a marriage, but sometimes it is not enough to go to pray there once and need to do it twice or three times.

And there are those who recommended that those who are afraid of having children pray for the memory of Rabbi Yonatan ben Uziel, and accept upon themselves that when salvation comes, they will name their sons "Yonatan.".
