The swearing-in ceremony for President-elect Reuven (Rubi) Rivlin will be brought forward.  The reason: MK Eli Yishai of Shas turned to the president-elect this afternoon (Thursday) and asked him to bring forward the date of the presidential swearing-in ceremony, which was expected to take place during the nine days - between Rosh Chodesh Av and Tish B'Av.   MK Yishai emphasized to the president-designate that, according to Jewish tradition, these are days of mourning, and that it is not customary to hold events of this type during them. Rivlin thanked MK Yishai for "drawing his attention to the matter," and as a result, he ordered the ceremony to be brought forward.
