Who hasn't had this happen to you? You sent a harsh or inappropriate message on WhatsApp - one of the world's most popular instant messaging apps - and then you discover that you sent it to the wrong person.

Oh wow. It's impossible to return it.

But that's about to change. According to a report by the Twitter account WABetaInfo, which WhatsApp has not officially confirmed, the beta version of WhatsApp for iPhone (iOS 2.17.1.869) has added a Revoke button, which will delete the message you just sent.

An edit button has also been added, which simply shortens the process of deleting and writing something else. It will also be possible to delete photos and videos that were sent by mistake.

The update will also make it possible to delete sent photos and videos, even after the second gray V has been marked - the one that shows that the message was received on the device to which the message was sent.
