Tragedy in Savyon: Two 12-year-old girls drowned in a pool in a private home

 Tragedy on the eve of the holiday: Two 12-year-old girls drowned in the afternoon (Tuesday) in a swimming pool in a private home on Shikma Street in the town of Savyon. A doctor, paramedic and volunteer paramedics from United Hatzalah performed advanced CPR in an attempt to save their lives, but unfortunately a United Hatzalah doctor was forced to declare the two girls dead. Police investigators from the Mesopotamia Police Department are at the scene and have begun an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. An initial investigation shows that the two arrived at the pool at the grandmother's house of one of them in the afternoon. At one point, the grandmother - who had been at home the entire time - found the two unconscious in the water. She rushed to pull them out of the water and at the same time called the police to the scene. A police spokesman said: "A report was received about two 12-year-old girls, relatives, who were swimming in a private pool. מבדיקה שנערכה עם מפקד תחנת מסובים שנמצא בזירה מדובר בשתי חברות. הנסיבות עדין אינן ברורות. החוקרים כעת בזירה מנסים לברר מה קרה. הגופות יועברו למכון לרפואה משפטית להבין את הנסיבות". גורם במשטרת תל אביב אמר: "שתי הילדות ידעו לשחות, ואנחנו כרגע בודקים גם את מצלמות האבטחה וגם בודקים באמצעות מומחה את המכשור בבריכה".  מתחזק החשד כי קצר חשמלי שיצר הרובוט האחראי על ניקוי הבריכה גרם לאסון.
