Iran violated the ceasefire this evening (Sunday) and launched a first salvo of four missiles towards northern Israel.
The IDF announced that all missiles were successfully intercepted by air defense systems, and that the air defense system constantly identifies and intercepts threats.
Further firing was later carried out towards the Sharon area and further launches towards the north and Samaria. Intercept fragments were found in the Yokneam Ilit area and Kfar Yehoshua near the train station. No casualties were reported.
In total, 4 waves of Iranian attacks were carried out on Israeli territory - all in the northern region, and in Iran they say: "The response is over.".
It is estimated that 8-10 ballistic missiles were launched, some of which did not penetrate the country's territory.
Following the launches, widespread alarms and warnings were activated in a long line of central cities and towns across the country, including Haifa, Tirat Carmel, Kiryat Bialik, Tiberias, Afula, Nof HaGalil, Nazareth, Migdal HaEmek, Yokneam Illit, Karmiel, Hadera, Or Akiva and Harish.
The warnings were also in the areas of the Jezreel Valley, the Lower Galilee, the southern Golan Heights, the Carmel, the Gulf, Wadi Ara, the Beit Shean Valley and the Hefer Valley.
Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, responded: "Tonight, Tehran must burn!""
Israeli officials said that Israel would respond forcefully to the launches from Iran.
An Israeli source told the Saudi Al-Hadath channel that "the US has given Israel freedom of action to attack Iran if it launches missiles towards Israel.".
On the other hand, President Trump responded: "I suggest to Iran - you have fired enough, that is enough. Now return to the negotiating table.".
The president also claimed that the Israeli attack on Beirut was not coordinated with him in advance. He said, "The attack on Beirut was not coordinated. Not happy with it.".
In a conversation with Barak Ravid, he said: "I will call Netanyahu now - and tell him not to attack Iran." According to him, "No one was hurt by the shooting, if Netanyahu responds it will go on and on. We are very close to a deal to end the war, it will be a good deal. I don't want this to blow up the deal. Every side is attacking, I don't want to see another attack.".
Here's the news: "I think Israel has responded enough. They don't need to respond anymore. We can achieve peace after 3,000 years""
An IDF spokesman is expected to make a statement to the media.
A few minutes before the alarms were activated, the Home Front Command issued an advance warning following the detection of launches from Iran.
