A spokeswoman for the Brussels prosecution announced at a press conference held at the courthouse on Monday that, according to the findings of the investigation, the shooting at the Jewish Museum, in which four people were murdered, was carried out for terrorist and not criminal motives. The court's ruling comes based on information gathered since Saturday.

""The first images from the scene reveal a cold-blooded killer who appears determined in his actions. It took less than 90 seconds. This, together with the work that the shooting took place inside the Jewish Museum, leads us to believe that the crime was committed with a terrorist motive.".

Earlier, it was reported in Belgian media that, according to "sources involved in the investigation" and from reviewing the security videos from the museum, the killer may have been carrying a GoPro camera, with which he documented his actions.

The Foreign Ministry said that this was a terrorist incident in every sense of the word. "When the bodies arrive in Israel, a terrorist procedure will be activated. All the responsible ministries will take care of the well-being of the couple's daughters, depending on the circumstances of the case.".

The bodies of Emmanuel and Mira Riva, aged 45 and 54, arrived in Israel last night after midnight on a Brussels Airlines flight that took off from Brussels. The coffins landed at Ben Gurion Airport at 12:30 after midnight. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 PM at the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery in Tel Aviv.

The couple, residents of Tel Aviv, left behind two daughters, ages 15 and 17. Two museum employees were also killed in the attack, a Frenchwoman in her 60s and a 23-year-old Belgian, who died of his wounds in the hospital.

A manhunt is still underway for the shooting suspect, who apparently fled the scene on foot.
