A 35-year-old man was murdered this morning (Sunday) on Highway 5533 near Moshav Tzur Natan. Five more people were injured by gunfire at other locations, and their condition is described as moderate to serious.
The two terrorists, one of whom was an Arab-Israeli from Taiba, were killed by security forces. An improvised Carlo weapon was found at the scene of the first terrorist's killing. The vehicle used by the terrorists was apparently stolen.
Special forces were deployed to the scene of the attack and the Shin Bet was also involved.

The Shin Bet and the police launched a raid in Taiba, and at the same time the army imposed a curfew on several villages in the area where the attack took place.
The shooting spree began at a gas station in Kochav Yair, where two men were seriously and moderately injured. Later, a moderately injured man was found at the entrance to Tzur Yitzhak. Two wounded men, one of whom was in critical condition, were later found on Highway 5533 near Tzur Natan. One of them was later pronounced dead, and the condition of the other wounded man is described as serious.
The terrorists also fired at the Moshav Salait's security guard post, but there were no casualties in this incident. The Moshav's chief of police opened fire on the terrorists, but they managed to escape.
In the settlement of Tzur Yitzhak, an alert was sounded for fear of terrorist infiltration, and residents were called to lock themselves in their homes.
Large police forces from the Central District, including police from Tira Station, arrived at the various scenes and worked to collect evidence along with searching for suspects. IDF forces and the Shin Bet's "Tequila" team were also dispatched to the scene.
MDA paramedic Lior Zilberberg said: "We received reports of a number of injured people at various scenes, including reports of people who were shot. At the scene at a gas station near Kochav Yair, we began by providing medical treatment to a man about 50 years old who was seriously injured, and to a man about 30 years old who was in moderate condition.
""At another scene, in Tzur Yitzhak, we provided medical treatment to a 30-year-old man who was injured in his hand. At another scene, on Highway 5533, we treated another man in critical condition, and another injured person who was evacuated in serious condition. We continue to provide medical treatment at the various scenes.".
Prime Minister Netanyahu is assessing the situation and monitoring the deadly shooting attack on the Seam Line.
Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir: "If the terrorist is captured alive, he will be executed. This is the law and we will demand its implementation.".
""This is precisely why Otzma Yehudit enacted the 'death penalty for terrorists' law. Jewish blood is not in vain. Whoever murders a Jew will see the hanging rope.".
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded: "Under our very noses, a dangerous and extremist terrorist network is growing that wants to eliminate the State of Israel.".
He said, "This morning's heinous attack in the heart of Sharon is a bloody wake-up call to the profound change that needs to happen among Israeli Arabs.".
Smotrich added: "Hundreds of thousands of illegal weapons, including anti-tank missiles, MAG machine guns and explosive devices, alongside rampant crime and nationalist extremism, are an existential danger. Whoever accepts the sovereignty of the state will live here in peace. Whoever chooses the path of terrorism - his blood is on his head.".
