The victim of the murderous attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels, Mira Riva, is the sister of the rabbi Moshe Tzanani, one of the most important and influential figures in Breslov Hasidism and the 'Shuvo Banim' community of the Gra Rabbi Eliezer Berland.

Mira lived in Tel Aviv and worked in the Prime Minister's Office. Her husband, Emmanuel, worked as an accountant in the Witness Protection Program. The couple left behind two daughters - ages 17 and 15.

The Foreign Ministry said that the embassy is in contact with the local police, and that it will handle the repatriation of the couple's bodies as soon as the investigating judge in charge of the case allows it.

Gusya Porat, a relative of Emmanuel Riva, spoke of "an amazing family with values, values, and lovers of the Land of Israel. They always came to our aid. The girls are good friends of my daughter. Now the whole family will mobilize and do whatever is necessary. Obviously, we cannot be father and mother, but we will not forget what Emmanuel and Mira did for us, they did not miss any joy or sadness, they were always there for us.".

Porat has no doubt that this was a terrorist attack. "They simply entered the Jewish Museum in Brussels and shot. There was probably no security." According to Porat, the couple were supposed to return to Israel on Thursday, and her husband spoke with Emmanuel, his cousin, on Wednesday. According to her, "They worked at the Foreign Ministry, they were on a mission for four years. They didn't say anything, some of it was intelligence.".

And there are also those who survived the attack due to illness: a woman who was supposed to work at the museum on Saturday was forced to be absent due to illness. Shortly after the event, she was horrified to discover that the woman who replaced her had been killed in the shooting.

The woman, Rika, a 72-year-old Jewish resident of Brussels, began volunteering at the museum four years ago. Since then, she has been there twice a week to help the staff. Recently, due to her deteriorating health, she has been content with working one day a week, which saved her life.
