Journalist Judy Shalom Nir Mozes, wife of former Minister Silvan Shalom, tweeted this morning (Sunday) on her personal Twitter account a tweet that may have surprised many, but not those close to her.

Moses wrote in a tweet: "Thanks to my great love for Bibi, I am considering registering today to run against him in the primaries for the leadership of the Likud. My only fear is that by mistake I will still win...""

Her husband, former Minister Silvan Shalom, recently retired from political life following a series of complaints from women who claimed that he had committed serious acts. However, to date, none of the women have filed a complaint with the police, and no official investigation has been opened against the former minister.

Two weeks ago, Arik Ziv, editor of the Likudnik website, wrote in his column - published here in Haredim 10 - that Judy was considering entering political life:

""During the presidential election, the first affair emerged, from which Sylvain emerged unscathed. That is, in political jargon, it was a small blow to the wing.

After the presidential election, Sylvain withdrew into himself and many saw these as Sylvain's last days in politics. Summer 2014.

On the bench, his wife Judy began to warm up. Judy held talks and also began to appear at conferences. There was an atmosphere of changing roles in the Shalom family.

Little by little, information began to trickle into the Likud. Activists from the Silvan camp began to rally behind Judy, preparing for a possible run. But as the elections approached, a clarification emerged: Silvan is continuing and is not preparing to retire.

It is almost certain that in retrospect, if he had retired at that time, he would have sat quietly and Judy would have been in the Knesset today.

What's interesting is: Will Judy now be able to enter and compete or does this affair close the door for her as well?

In any case, the estimates are that Judy will enter the game. The question is whether in the Likud or in another party. My estimate is that there is a very high chance that she will run in the Likud and succeed in becoming the Likud leader.

"That way, whoever didn't want Sylvan will get Judy.".
