Economy Minister Aryeh Deri visited Modiin Illit on Thursday. The minister, accompanied by Mayor Yaakov Guterman, visited the branch of the BDO Ziv Haft firm.
They were welcomed by BDO Chairman Ziv Haft, CPA Danny Margalit, Head of the Eshkol CPA Yoel Toledano, responsible for the firm's activities in the Haredi sector, and Branch Manager CPA Farah Greenberg, along with branch employees.
The minister was very interested in the branch's activities and, among other things, asked about the possibilities for growth and expansion of this welcome activity. CPA Danny Margalit noted the welcome growth of the Haredi branches and the great satisfaction of the clients and the firm's management with the quality of the employees and their high professional level.
BDO Ziv Haft is one of the five largest accounting and business consulting firms in Israel, operating branches that employ Haredi women in Modiin Illit and Bnei Brak.
CPA Toledano told the minister that there is no doubt that these activities can be expanded further, while recognizing the importance of these branches for the sector's occupational integration.
The minister was interested in the employees' employment conditions and received an explanation from the firm's chairman about the uniformity of wages throughout the firm, which is built on professional ranks and advancement within them without any connection to geography or sector. The minister expressed his satisfaction with this.
