A sad and heartbreaking story: Elizabeth Myers is a 5-year-old girl from Ohio, USA. Unfortunately, due to a serious illness, her vision is fading and disappearing.

Her parents, who were poor, took their daughter to beautiful places in their area, so that "Lazi," as she is called, would have time to see as much as possible before the world went dark for her.

Myers' story was featured on the website accesswdun.com.

Following this, the CEO of Turkish Airlines heard about the girl and decided to give the family free plane tickets to any destination in the world they chose.

The family chose the first destination - Rome.

Lizzie's father explained: "My wife's family originally comes from Italy, so Rome was a natural choice. We'll see the artwork, and the ancient history of the city.".

The family plans to visit Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone National Park next. In the meantime, the parents and their daughter visited a large observatory and viewed the planets through a telescope.

According to doctors, Lazy suffers from a disease called 'Usher syndrome', which affects her vision and hearing.

According to predictions, she will lose these two important senses within 5-7 years. The girl herself, by the way, is not aware of her difficult situation, but her parents plan to tell her about it in the not-too-distant future.
