Tragedy in the city of Elad: At the Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, the late Rabbi Yehoshua Eliyahu Weissbert passed away at the age of 41, after a serious illness.
The late, late, passed away at 8 a.m. on Saturday, after enduring two years of severe and bitter suffering.
He studied at the Ofakim Yeshiva and married his wife from the Ilitsky family of Bnei Brak. He left behind 6 orphans, with his eldest daughter being only 15 years old.

During the two years he battled his illness, many prayed for him, and at his request, advertisements were published in newspapers every day to pray for Eliyahu Yehoshua ben Chaya Dvora.
His funeral left on Saturday night from the Heikhal Moshe synagogue, next to his home at 4 Rif Street - for the Segula Life House in Petah Tikva.
