Michal Herzog, wife of Zionist Camp Chairman MK Bozhi Herzog, reported to the police this evening (Monday) that a stone was thrown at her vehicle as she was leaving her home in Tel Aviv.
She told the police that the stone hit the vehicle and caused damage to the windshield and window.
The police and the Personal Security Unit are investigating the matter.
Opposition leader MK Yitzhak Herzog wrote on his Facebook page this evening: "An unpleasant incident involving the smashing of a windshield in Michal's car this evening. It is important for me to clarify that everything is fine and we are continuing with our daily routine. The police are investigating the incident and we are confident that they will complete the investigation as soon as possible. A big thank you to all those who asked and were concerned, and good night.".
Following this, MK Mickey Levy Mish Atid, former commander of the Jerusalem Police District, said that the Israel Police must use all means at its disposal to get their hands on those who threw the stone.
""Any violence, including against political figures and their families, deserves condemnation from all ends of the political spectrum, and those who are guilty should bear the maximum penalty stipulated in the Penal Code for this serious offense.".
