Suddenly even Boogie Herzog is defending us.

When I heard about elections, I remembered the wars that separated Litzman, Eichler and Degel, the Peles versus Yated, every controversy and its history. Positions on the list, rotations, keep it for me and I'll keep it for you. For some reason there is a blessed silence • And does a wolf live with a lamb?

When I heard about the elections I said:

Not only that. Two years ago we paid a heavy price in elections whose results will take years to repair. Last year we went through two election campaigns in Beit Shemesh, in which we won the battle but lost the campaign. And again, there too, it will be years before we are able to repair the damage.

 And since we heard Elections:

The situation on the ground is actually on our side. Corruption scandals? In Yisrael Beiteinu and not in Shas. Waste of public funds? The settlers are to blame, not the Haredim. The conscription law? Does anyone remember? (Did Lapid succeed to that extent)?

When I heard about the elections I imagined:

Lapid is already sending the spitting image to Beit Shemesh to organize the event. I predicted he would start with incitement and turn our lives into a continuous nightmare. But for some reason everything is quiet. I hope Lapid is not planning to pull a rabbit out of the hat at the last minute. Have the days of the Messiah arrived and the trick "hit the Haredim and save the country" no longer works? I hope so.

And since we heard Elections:

Outbursts of love for the Haredi are being heard in our country. Suddenly everyone loves us, cares about us, and cheers us on. Not just Amnon Levy. Even Herzog defends us. Meretz announces that they are not against the Haredi public, Bibi and Bennett blame Lapid for his attitude toward us, and even Yair Lapid and Ofer Shelah from Yesh Atid announce that their movement will not reject a meeting with Haredis in the government.

When I heard about the elections I remembered:

In wars, spread Litzman, Eichler and Degel, Hapels vs. Yated, every controversy and its history. Positions on the list, rotations, keep it for me and I'll keep it for you. For some reason, there is a blessed silence. Everyone cheers and connects, Litzman and Eichler, the "Yiddish" speakers, worry about Shas, Gafni and Asher, the "Lithuanians" comfort in Chabad. And a wolf lives with a lamb? I wish.

 And since we heard Elections:

I dare to pray in every synagogue in Beit Shemesh. I feel the unity in the air, everyone meets with the "working Haredim", everyone is ready to join the campaign, everyone is being recruited for the campaign, and I wonder, to what extent has Lapid succeeded?!

When I heard about the elections I was terrified.:

Everyone knew that the moment of truth had come. Yesh-Deri would fight each other or fall together. The beginning was difficult: a lot of noise, tapes and resignations, but then, silence.

And since then, only good things have happened: the Shas community has awakened and united again. Rabbi Amar returned to the community and took part in calming the spirits. And most importantly, Rabbi Elbaz, a figure revered by thousands, great in Torah and leadership, is taking part in leading the generation.

If this isn't a campaign, I don't know what is.
