The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed new footage from Operation Arnon this evening (Sunday), during which the four abductees Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jean, and Andrei Kozlov were rescued from the Nussirat refugee camp in Gaza.
Among the new materials published was the last documentation of the commander of the YAMM fleet, Commander Arnon Zmora, who fell during the rescue battle and for whom the operation was named.
In addition, the documents directly show the difficult street battles that the unit's fighters waged in Nussirat against Hamas terrorists.
The videos show the fierce fighting that the forces waged in the densely built-up environment of the refugee camp to complete the mission.
A central part of the exhibition presents the dramatic moments of the fighters' encounter with the hostages inside the buildings where they were being held.
In the recording, the fighters are heard turning to Noa and saying: "We have a diamond in our hands, Noa - breathe, we're taking you home, you're safe.".
