A delegation of Russian governors, led by the President of the Russian Jewish Congress (RJC), Yuri Kanner, and the President of the Conference of European Rabbis, Rabbi and Av Beit Din of Moscow, Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, arrived in Israel today (Tuesday) for a show of support and solidarity.
The delegation included heads of Jewish communities, public figures and business people. The purpose of the visit: to strengthen the bond between Israel and Russian Jews during these difficult times, and to encourage inbound tourism to Israel as a sign of support and solidarity.
Tomorrow morning, members of the delegation will pray the morning prayer at the Bnei Torah synagogue, where the massacre took place in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem, and will hold a rally in memory of those killed in the murderous attack on the 14th.
