The Ministry of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition is implementing the Rest Tents project in Jerusalem on Shavuot for immigrants walking to the Western Wall during the holiday for the fourth year. This is a project that is the fruit of the policy of former Minister of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition, MK Meir Porush.
This year, the equipped tents will be available for the public's use starting at 9:00 PM on the night of the holiday until 12:00 noon the next day.
The tents will be set up at 15 Shmuel Hanavi, Shamgar Parking Lot and Shazar Boulevard at the corner of Nordau. The tents will have rest areas, hot and cold drinks, and light refreshments.
Former Minister of Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition, MK Meir Porush, welcomed the fact that the project continued this year as well and thanked the Director General of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Tradition, Shimon Album, and the Director General of the Jerusalem Development Authority, Tzachi Namir.
