A girl was critically injured and 9 others were seriously, moderately and lightly injured when a bus crashed into a tree on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv this evening (Monday).

Rescue forces evacuated ten injured people from the scene: an 11-year-old girl in critical condition, two seriously injured, one in moderate condition, and six who were slightly injured.
Two of the injured were evacuated to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The hospital said: "Two injured people were evacuated from the scene of the bus collision in Tel Aviv to the emergency department at Ichilov, an 11-year-old girl in critical condition whose life is being fought for by the emergency and trauma teams, and another seriously injured woman who is currently being treated in the trauma room.".
The fire department said that firefighters were called to the scene after a tree and power pole collapsed as a result of the accident and rescued two of the injured.
Police traffic investigators have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
