During a targeted enforcement activity by the National Motorcycle Patrol on Highway 31, the patrolmen heard the screeching of brakes and signaled the driver of the vehicle to stop.
In response, the driver fled the scene in a wild drive, while the patrolman chased after him - until he was arrested.
When the ranger asked why he fled, the driver replied: "Because I don't have a driver's license.".
Indeed, the inspection found that the driver had never issued a driver's license - and this was the third time he had been caught driving without a license.
The driver, 21 years old from Hora, was brought in for questioning at the Eirat station, at the end of which he was imprisoned.
The vehicle was disabled for 30 days.
