Yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, under intelligence guidance from the Commander of the Central Border Guard, Judea and Samaria Border Guard soldiers from the Shiloh Battalion were dispatched to carry out a red-handed arrest of a suspect in the smuggling of illegal residents.
The forces identified the suspicious vehicle after it crossed an IDF checkpoint and entered Israeli territory near the Eyal crossing, and stopped it for inspection. During the search of the vehicle, eight illegal residents were located and removed in the luggage.
The driver of the vehicle and the eight illegal residents were arrested and taken for questioning, along with the suspicious vehicle and a large amount of cash seized at the scene.

All suspects were transferred for further investigation to the Judea and Samaria Border Police Headquarters.
