Alarms were activated in the Upper Galilee due to gunfire from Lebanon. The IDF provided an initial report that "alerts were activated in the Misgav Am area, the details are being examined.".
Minutes later, an IDF spokesman announced that the incident was over.
Residents of Kiryat Shmona and the Galilee communities received a message earlier today stating that "in the coming minutes, a premeditated explosion of Hezbollah infrastructure is expected in the Ramim Ridge area.".
""Residents of the communities of Misgav Am, Manara, Margaliot and Metula are asked to enter buildings, open some of the windows of the house and stay away from large windows until the explosion is over. Residents of Kiryat Shmona and Kfar Giladi are advised to open windows and stay away from large windows. Those in open areas - there is no need to enter buildings and can continue activities as usual," the statement said.
