After a break of about two months: Haifa Airport returned to full international operations today

Air Haifa resumed its operations from Haifa Airport today (Thursday), after a break of approximately 8 weeks, due to the security situation.

With the reopening of the port, the company resumed operations from its home base in the north, after temporarily relocating its operations to Ben Gurion Airport, as part of Operation "Harry's Roar.".

After completing comprehensive operational and logistical preparations, Haifa Airport resumed operating international flights to nearby destinations in Europe, including Greece and Cyprus, including Athens and Larnaca.

Domestic flights are expected to resume this Sunday - April 26, 2026. .

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev: "The northern skies are reopening to international flights after a challenging and significant period. The return of activity at Haifa Airport strengthens the State of Israel's air connections and the status of the north. This is an important step for developing the region and making aviation services accessible to the general public. We will continue to work to expand air activity and strengthen infrastructure throughout the country."
