Two IDF soldiers serving as F-15 aircraft technicians at the Tel Nof Air Force base will be charged with spying for Iran - during the war.

According to a report this evening (Wednesday) by Shelly Tapiero on 'Kan News', the two will be charged with aiding the enemy in time of war, while consideration will be given to whether to increase the sentence of one of the suspects for treason.

According to suspicion, the two were asked to gather information about former Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

They also transferred documents of the engine diagram of Israeli aircraft, and photographs showing the face of a flight instructor.

Eight additional soldiers are suspected of knowing about the two men's actions and not reporting them.

After the incident, the base commander gathered his soldiers for an information security call in which he said that he had been summoned for clarification at the Shin Bet offices.
