The protesters smashed the windows of Solberg's house and caused havoc. The Solberg family's car was also vandalized.

After the riot, the protesters got on a bus and tried to leave the scene. Police forces arrived in the area, stopped the bus with the protesters - and detained 65 of them for questioning.

Josh Breiner, Haaretz's police correspondent, wrote on his X account: "The attack on Judge Solberg and the vandalism of his home by ultra-Orthodox rioters: Today the police intend to bring 65 of the arrested rioters to court. Don't raise expectations. Go prove which of them smashed the windows. Expect headlines of 'embarrassment for the police.'".

""Solberg himself is well, for those interested, he attended the Torah reading on Tuesday this morning in a synagogue, security guards were posted at his home.".

The police issued a statement tonight stating: A situation assessment with the Shi'a District Command Staff has now been completed regarding the violent disturbance of order and damage to the home and property of the Deputy President of the Supreme Court, Honorable Justice Noam Solberg, by dozens of rioters.

At this stage, all suspects are detained and, at the end of their interrogation, they will be brought before the court, where the police will request an extension of their detention.

The investigation of the incident was assigned to Chief of Police S.I. - and so far, police investigators have collected evidence at the scene and the forensic investigators who were also called in have collected findings and evidence to advance the investigation.

It should be emphasized that the Judea Region police, who were called to the scene immediately after the report, restored order within a few minutes. In the meantime, the police detained 65 rioters who were on the scene and took part in the violent disturbance, and as mentioned, they were transferred for police questioning.

Meira, the judge's wife, who was present with him at home when he was attacked by extremists, spoke to reporters shortly after the incident - in an agitated state.

""I don't have another country, I'm not going anywhere, even if the earth is a little on fire right now. It won't help anyone. We'll continue on the right path.".

She added angrily: "It's impossible for Jews to do this to each other. We are children of Holocaust survivors. Jews harm each other like this? How can this be? This is a pogrom. What is Kristallnacht?""
