'Lior Horev's 'Archive' is causing a stir: In the US, reports are being made today (Friday) about a series of scathing tweets written by the strategic advisor to Naftali Bennett's campaign on social media - against US President Donald Trump.
The quotes from these tweets, written several years ago, may make it difficult for Naftali Bennett in his relations with the president, who is known to be very concerned about his personal honor.
According to a report on the JNS website, advisor Horev has previously lashed out at the president, writing, among other things: "Netanyahu is a blind follower of Trump, who is a follower of anti-Semites," "Trump is crazy," and "This evil man, the criminal and the instigator is an ally of the Israeli right and Benjamin Netanyahu.".
Horev also tweeted that "Trump's truth is like Iran's democracy," referring to Trump's TruthSocial social platform, which was founded as an alternative to the X network.
The Likud responded: "The Likud condemns the offensive statements of Lior Horev, Naftali Bennett's campaign manager, against US President Donald Trump. President Trump is the best friend of the State of Israel to ever be in the White House.".
""This is a personal attack on the US President and a political attack on the State of Israel's most important and strategic foreign relations with its greatest friend in the world.".
The Likud added: "We demand that Naftali Bennett fire Horev, condemn his serious words, and apologize to President Trump.".
Melior Horev told journalist Michael Shemesh: "I have expressed my opinions on many issues over many years. At different times. In the past, I have had criticism of things as well as words of praise when I thought so.".
Naftali Bennett did not comment on the storm.
