Towards the end of Maimonides: Singer Levi Farkash and keyboardist Itzik Lifshitz present an innovative, sweeping, and bouncy performance of the familiar Chabad tune "Vamela Ha'aretz.".
The melody carries a fundamental and powerful message, and Maimonides chose to conclude his book with the verse: "And the earth was filled with the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea" - the knowledge that the entire world is filled with G-d, with faith, and with meaning.
The new performance incorporates electronic processing, while maintaining the authenticity of the melody.
