While Israel is preparing for the possibility that the US will attack Iran soon: The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, who is close to the Revolutionary Guards, issued a sharp threat against the US and Israel this morning (Sunday).
This is against the backdrop of President Trump's warnings to the Iranian regime that "the use of force will not go unnoticed.".
He said, "Any American attack on Iranian territory in the wake of the protests will lead Iran to attack Israel and the US military bases in the region.".

The threats come against the backdrop of reports of heightened alert in Israel, due to fears of US military action in response to the shooting suppression of the mass protest in Iran.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone on Saturday with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, discussing the possibility of direct American involvement in Iran.
An American official confirmed the conversation took place, but declined to provide details.
Israel is closely monitoring developments, given the direct threat coming from Tehran and the possibility of regional escalation.
