Actress Lidor Edri, who repented several years ago and became a Chabad member, revealed the story of her repentance in an interview with the podcast "Release the Bear.".

Edri said that at the age of 23, when she was an acting student, she was run over by a scooter in the Hatikva neighborhood of Tel Aviv. After that, she realized that she wanted to repent.

Edri shared that the dramatic incident was not started by the scooter, but by a bus passing in front of it: "I was crossing, not in a crosswalk of course, I was engrossed in my phone. A huge bus almost hit me. At that moment, it was as if I was saved, I continued - and then the scooter flew over me. At that moment, I thought I was dead. I flew across the road, and it really bothered me that I was going to die now, at the age of 23, an acting student. What's the connection?""

"How did you suddenly become a douchebag?" she was asked.

""I got run over," she replied.

Where does God enter the story?

Edri shared: "I said, good for entertainment, if now you've left this world, you flew away from here at the age of 23, prematurely, you went up, you lived as you wanted? Okay, who was I really? Like I'm going up in a second to sign a ticket. Who was I really?".

""What came to my mind was a picture of my friends in their bras in August, walking around with their skirts. I'm in my tank top and shorts, looking at them, saying: 'How hot!' I said, 'The truth is there, that's it.'".
