New appointment at Israel Hayom: Bini Ashkenazi joins as the newspaper's political correspondent

Journalist Bini Ashkenazi joins the senior writing team of the Israel Hayom newspaper. Ashkenazi will cover the political field digitally and in the newspaper.

Ashkenazi replaces Yehuda Schlesinger, who moved to cover politics on the Walla website.

Ashkenazi, 39, holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University and is a doctoral student in law at Reichman University.

Served as an attorney in the legal office of 'Kan' - the public broadcasting corporation in the stages of establishment. In 2019, he served as the legal correspondent for 'The Marker'.

He continued his professional career in 2021 when he moved to Makor Rishon, and in 2022 he moved to Walla as a legal reporter.
