A senior Israeli security official told the Saudi Al-Hadath channel today (Thursday) that in the secret operation carried out last night in the suburbs of Damascus, the landed force dismantled Turkish spy devices that had been planted in the Al-Kiswa area.

""We returned secret and dangerous equipment in the landing of troops near Damascus. We dismantled Turkish spying devices that were placed in the suburbs of Damascus to spy on us. The devices we returned had been in Syrian positions for more than a decade." According to him, "Turkey is trying to get too close to us.".

The Saudi channel reported that Israel conveyed a message to the Sharia regime "not to test our tolerance and not to test the limits of our actions.".

The source claimed that secret and dangerous equipment was located, and the landing operation was necessary for Israel's security.

A Syrian military source told the Qatari Al Jazeera channel last night that the IDF had landed forces at a military base in Al-Kiswa in the southern suburbs of Damascus.

According to the Al Jazeera report, four helicopters and two fighter jets arrived at the same military base in Al-Kiswa on the outskirts of Damascus. The helicopters landed dozens of soldiers, apparently special forces, who brought with them several heavy vehicles and conducted a search of the base.

The forces remained on site for two hours and then left the same way.

The fighter jets "prepared the way" for the helicopters and prevented Syrian forces from reaching the scene. It was also reported that there was no fighting between Syrian forces and the IDF.

Yesterday, in another attack attributed to Israel in the same area, six members of the Syrian regime's security forces were killed.

According to a report on SYRIA TV, the attack yesterday near Al-Kiswa was at a point where listening devices were placed that Syrian army personnel were trying to handle - and as a result of the attack, they were killed.

IDF aircraft and UAVs only made it possible to extract the bodies of the Syrian army members yesterday afternoon. The attacks and the commando operation were in a nearby location.

Defense Minister Yisrael Katz responded this morning: "Our forces are operating in all theaters of war day and night for the security of Israel.".
