Home prices fall slightly: Consumer Price Index rose 0.31% in June

The consumer price index for June 2025, which was published today (Tuesday), increased by 0.3% - thus bringing annual inflation to 3.3%.

Notable price increases were recorded last June in culture and entertainment prices (1.1%), fresh food and vegetables (0.7%), housing prices (0.5%), transportation and communications (0.4%), and health (0.3%).

Notable price declines were recorded in clothing prices (-4.5%), fresh fruit (-2.5%), and furniture and home equipment (-0.4%).

Comparing the prices of transactions carried out in March-April of this year with the prices of transactions carried out in February-March, it was found that apartment prices decreased by 0.31%.

By district, there was an increase in apartment prices in Jerusalem (1.2%) and the center (0.3%), a decrease in the northern districts (-1.3%), Tel Aviv (-0.6%) and the south (-0.2%), while in Haifa there was no change in apartment prices. The prices of new apartments throughout the country increased by 0.4%.
